Elderly people need to prove that they can still drive in many states at a certain age. Based on their fitness even though they are adults they can be denied the right to drive. You have to be 25 to be a Congressman and 30 to be a Senator. I have no problem with this.

charoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5393996338560944889.post-28605343092737417732010-03-04T12:17:46.995-05:002010-03-04T12:17:46.995-05:00If kids are adults, why can't they legally dri...If kids are adults, why can't they legally drink?Gadfly Johnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5393996338560944889.post-86478741402631558242010-03-04T07:34:17.131-05:002010-03-04T07:34:17.131-05:00IMO, college kids are legally adults and parents s...IMO, college kids are legally adults and parents shouldn't enter the picture when discipline is concerned. I don't drink, but to be honest I don't think students should even be deterred. I think it is better to instill in the young the idea of responsible drinking rather than no drinking.
I am with Bunny on the Wire on this, knowingly not knowing is sometimes the best policy so you can concentrate on the important things (like drinking and driving, safety, binge drinkng, etc.)

charoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
