    ps. saw a great Nat Geo show that the reason the Aztecs died was not due to old world plagues like small pox, but a new world (and very old) variant of hemorhagic fever which recurs during a very rainy year after years of prolonged drought. It just happened to occur at the same time as the Spanish invasion (very bad timing for the Aztecs), and it wiped out 80% of the population. It was similar to the Hanta virus in New Mexico in 92
