Thankfully, they have fixed my account over at The New Republic online, so if it suits me I can go back to commenting regularly.
But, I'm sorry folks, I just hate the new design. It's busy, it's cluttered, and it's hard to figure out what's going on. The new stuff and archived material is all jumbled together, and it's just altogether too jam-packed.

Joe Wilson's opponent raised over 100K overnight. I believe that speaks volumes. This was the first time in US History that a president was so disrespected at the House of Representatives and Senate. It shows the level to which the Republican party has fallen. Imagine, Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction, atomic weapons and Saddam. That cost the lives of over one-hundred thousand Iraqis and nearly four thousand American troops yet no one called him a liar when he spoke to the joint members.
