Chronicles of the Galactically Stupid

When I think of groups whose members are highly likely to join up with a band of despised, inbred cretins, whose history throughout the ages makes them inclined to find common cause with those who believe in a hateful, violent God, and whose diaspora seeks a return to the blessed heart of sun-parched Kansas, I think of one obvious answer.

Jews.

Yes, that's right. Jews. The many Jews I have known throughout my life (including the ones I am related to) seem just the type to watch the antics of the mouth-breathing lunatics from the Westboro Baptist "Church" and think "Hey, break me off some of that!" Once they get used to the lack of Zabar's, museums and sanity, Topeka will seem just like home.

Which is why I'm sure this trip to New York City on a conversion crusade must have worked out well for your friends and mine from the WBC. Bless.

Update: All irony aside, when the rabbi from Temple Beth Elohim blows the shofar in the video, it makes me verklempt.

  1. Whew, I'm glad I read the article; at first, I thought you might be serious, LOL! Maybe Moshe Rabinowitz will join WBC and change his name to Mike Robbins, or something.

  2. Um. No. No, I am not in the least little bit serious.

  3. Good grief, I just watched the video. Shirley Phelps is an attractive, articulate woman. How can such a person commit this type of intellectual suicide? I must admit that my intellect must have been on vacation when I first read your blog entry.

I can't help but agree with the gentleman who said these people should be ignored, since they thrive on attention and rabble-rousing. Their type of ignorance exposes itself.

  4. Most amazing of all, Shirley Phelps is an attorney and the chief spokesperson for WBC. Not long ago there was a documentary of Fred and his family (which consists about 99% of his church). One has to watch it to fully comprehend the depth of their mental depravity. I don't understand why Kansas has not arrested the lot of them for child endangerment.

  5. I knew she was an attorney, also. I agree about their effect on children, but other hate groups do the same. It would be nice if we could arrest the whole lot.
